The time starts when the truck arrives at the pickup location and ends after the bill has been paid rounded up to the nearest 15 minutes.

The deposit covers the minimum 2 hour charge plus the travel fee.

If the job is delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, the deposit is transferred to a new date without any extra charges.

Try minimise the amount that overflows from boxes. They are much easier and quicker to move and pack into the truck if there are no protrusions. Ensure they are adequately taped and labelled to save yourself some time organising at the drop-off.

Absolutely not. We charge based on the items included in the estimate signed by you.

Common factors include; having more items than originally listed in your inventory list, having furniture that needs to be disassembled and assembled, not having an elevator booking for apartment moves, longer than expected access to either property from the truck, traffic and weather conditions.

15-minute increments are more accurate and the price reflects better for the work our teams complete. We try not to be like other companies that over-charge for their services.

‘Travel time’ is a separate and fixed fee on top of the moving time depending on how far you are from our office. It is the time it takes for our team to get to you, and for them to travel back from the drop-off address.

Ensure that the contents of the fridge have been emptied and properly bagged. Use masking tape on the doors to ensure there is no risk of them opening during the move. Tape the power cable to the back of the fridge to ensure no damage.

15-minute increments are more accurate and the price reflects better for each job. Some companies charge by the half hour and round it up and you end up paying an extra 20 or 25 minutes

We can transport specific pianos, and yes there is an extra charge added to your removalist Sydney prices. We only transport upright pianos. Anything larger than an upright piano is too susceptible to damages. When booking a job, let us know if you need a piano moved and we can let you know the options.

Artwork is wrapped in our heavy duty moving blankets to ensure safety during transit. For particularly delicate pieces of art, we recommend using specific packing materials that we can supply if necessary.

Between Monday and Saturday, we have a lower rate than Sundays.

The removalists at Asahi Move are well trained and experienced, however please understand that accidents may occur during your move. Where damaged is caused by handling and/or transporting your goods, we offer to repair, replace or compensate for any damages caused by us.
